| Service Technician - MSHA MSHA Certified with experience working in a mining environment CDL Desirable *Provide on-site management of automatic lubrication equipment at client’s customer’s facility by performing daily system and equipment inspections, equipment testing / installation / repair, reservoir filling, and lubricant deliveries. Follow instructions provided by client’s representative for planned (routine) and unplanned service. Technician will participate in client’s technical service/support training. * Service Technician will be able to service & support lubrication equipment and other lubricant dispensing devices for Draglines and shovels. Service Technician will have the ability to provide client’s customers with lubricant and equipment service reports, delivery reports, perform lubricant deliveries and perform daily customer routes. * Respond to service requests from customers, maintain lubrication preventive maintenance program. Take action to identify and prevent quality problems, inform and update maintenance personnel concerning problem equipment and conditions as well as preventive maintenance issues. Conduct all activities in compliance with client’s and client’s customer’s health, safety and environmental policies. * May be tasked to drive outside the mining site. * Shifting schedules for Sunday through Wednesday, Wednesday through Saturday, and Monday through Thursday Skills Required: * Perform daily service routes * Occasionally physically move 50 lb. containers/pails * Ability to work independently * Prolonged kneeling and / or squatting, and the ability to climb onto and under various plant equipment in a safe, prudent manner * MSHA Certification * Work experience in a Mining Environment Experience and Education Required/Preferred: * High school diploma or equivalent * Desirable skills may include, but are not limited to, forklift operator training and mechanical or technical background * Good problem-solving skills and verbal skills. * Maintain Commercial Driver’s License | |
